Paper Plate Animal Crafts

A plain paper plate turned into a lion, owl, or fish with paint and cut paper.

Steps

1. Set out paper plates, construction paper, scissors, glue, and paint.
2. Pick an animal together — a lion, owl, and fish are easy shapes to start with.
3. Paint the plate as the base color, then help cut and glue on ears, eyes, or fins.
4. Let it dry completely before hanging it up or using it in pretend play.
